WHY CHOOSE A BEESWAX CANDLE?
Aside from taking part in a multi-millennial tradition of burning candles made from beeswax, here are some other enticing attributes.

Beeswax is completely natural, sustainable, and renewable.

Non-irritating. Many who burn soy or paraffin candles have reports of allergy-like symptoms. Not so with beeswax!

There are claims that beeswax candles “purify” the air by “emitting negative ions that attach to dust” and other particles in the air. Frankly, I have yet to find any scientific research to back that claim up. However, anecdotal evidence suggests people do feel better after burning a beeswax candle.

Longer burning. Beeswax candles will last about twice as long as soy candles of the same size and 3-4x longer than paraffin candles.

Amazing natural scent! An unscented beeswax candle has a lovely honey smell that will easily disperse to fill your space.

Burns cleanly! As long as your wick is trimmed appropriately there will be no soot unlike paraffin candles.

By purchasing a beeswax candle, you’re supporting local beekeepers and therefore the bees! My beeswax is sourced from United States beekeepers who go to great lengths to ensure their bees are happy and healthy.
WHY NOT PARAFFIN CANDLES?
Paraffin is made from petroleum byproducts. When it burns, it increases acetaldehyde, formaldehyde, toluene, benzene, and acrolein to levels which exceed the EPA’s standards and pose an increased risk for various cancers. Not to say burning a paraffin candle every once in a while is going to cause irreparable harm, however, it is ill advised to do so continuously.
WHY NOT SOY CANDLES?
I think it is important to note that even if a candle says 100% soy, it will still have traces of paraffin. It is also created from hydrogenated soybean oil so if you’re concerned about GMOs this isn’t the wax for you. As well, soy farming is hard on the environment; it disrupts biodiversity, depletes top soil, and is very water intensive just to name a few downsides.
I’M VEGAN; I DON'T SUPPORT THE USE OF ANIMAL PRODUCTS AND THAT INCLUDES BEESWAX
I commend you for your choices! And I understand why beeswax would initially appear to not fit with your lifestyle choices. I am here to tell you that you can indeed eat your honeycake and burn your candle too. Bees are absolutely necessary to pollinate the myriad of vegetables, fruits, nuts, and legumes you no doubt eat. Without the use of beekeepers that care for and protect the bees, produce such as avocados, squash, blueberries, almonds, spinach, etc would be obsolete. Without bees there would only be grains.
By utilizing bee products that are sold by ethical beekeepers, we are able to support the beekeepers who support the bees who in turn, give us a bounty of crops to eat thereby avoiding other animal products.
WHAT DO YOU USE TO SCENT YOUR CANDLES
I use specific fragrance oils formulated for candle use. They have been studied and determined to not release harmful irritants into the air when burned. I ensure all of them are phthalate free, non-carcinogenic, and non-hazardous to your health.

RETURN POLICY
In the event you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it for an exchange or refund. All returns must be postmarked within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition. Return Process: To return an item, please email customer service at BrisWaxCandle@gmail.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and Return Address. After receiving an RMA number and Return Address, place the item securely in its original packaging and mail your return. Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. It is strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return. Refunds: After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, and after approval of the requested refund, your return or exchange will be processed. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. You be will notified by email when your return has been processed. PROCESSING TIME: The time needed to prepare an order for shipping varies. In most circumstances orders will ship out within 2-3 business days. SHIPPING TIMES: North America: 5-7 business days after 48-72 hour processing time. These are shipping estimates, not guarantees. Actual delivery time will depend on the postal service. Once the package is scanned by the post office I have no control over how long the package will take to arrive.
